Software Application Training to Streamline Census Data Collection

September 2015—Mind & Media developed six modules for Census Bureau to train field representatives on Census’ new Listing and Mapping Application (LiMA). Four modules are used within classroom training related to how to methodically map addresses in advance of the decennial Census. Two modules are used as just-in-time online training for field representatives when conducting the American Community Survey or Puerto Rico Community Survey. These online modules were produced in both stateside and Puerto Rico versions. The modules were piloted this summer and the revised versions are being piloted this fall.
