Effective Food Activism
November 2010—Mind & Media consultant and Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) webmaster Jill Nienhiser will be a panelist on “Effective Food Activism” at the Foundation’s 2010 Wise Traditions conference to be held at the Valley Forge Conference Center in King of Prussia PA on November 12-15. Other panelists include social media superstars Kimberly Hartke (WAPF publicist and Hartkeisonline.com blogger), Ann Marie Michaels (Cheeseslave.com blogger, Realfoodmedia.com founder, and Twitter expert), Kelly the Kitchen Kop (blogger), Jenny McGruther (a blogger and online e-course developer), and Kari Carlisle (Utah chapter leader and LinkedIn expert). The panel’s goal is to educate attendees on how to harness social media tools to reach the masses, grow Foundation membership and support, and promote local artisanal food and farming enterprises.
