An Award-Winning Year!
December 2010—Mind & Media received 16 awards this year for communication excellence. Both the web-based training we developed for Cyveillance, “Cyber Safety 101,” and the social media website for our documentary-in-production, DREAM: An Immigration Story, received Platinum MarCom and Summit Emerging Media Leader Awards.
The web-based recruiting presentation we developed for USDA’s Economic Research Service was honored with a Gold MarCom, a Gold Hermes, and a Silver Summit Creative Award. Meanwhile, the Customer Service Center Tools video we developed for Department of Energy’s internal communication campaign received a Gold MarCom and Platinum Hermes award.
A Platinum Hermes, Silver Summit Creative Award, and a Silver Davey were bestowed on the web-based training we developed for National Center for PTSD, “Returning from the War Zone: A Guide for Families.” Our video for Defense Threat Reduction Agency won a Platinum Hermes and a Bronze Summit, and our pro-bono marketing website for Embassy Series got a Gold Hermes.
Finally, for the second year in a row we were honored with a “Best of Alexandria” award in the Video Tape Editing category, by the US Commerce Association.
According to Mind & Media CEO Marilyn Finnemore, “We were delighted to have a number of exceptionally meaningful, interesting projects to work on this year. I’m so proud of all the hard work put in by everyone on the staff. Our clients were pleased with our work, which provided them with crystal clear communication tools for disseminating their important training and marketing messages. It’s great to be recognized by our peers as well through these prestigious awards.”
