CMS Website Helps in Fight Against Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

March 2012—Working with Rainmakers Solutions, Mind & Media developed and launched the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Outreach & Education MEDIC website. The purpose of the site is to help stakeholders learn how to stop Medicare fraud, waste and abuse by providing access to educational resources, helpful tools and the latest industry info. The website includes recent news articles about Part C and Part D fraud as well as educational resources and useful links. One of the most popular downloads on the site has been the Fraud Awareness Inserts, which explain common fraud schemes and cover how to report suspected fraud. Many more tools will be created and posted in the coming year.
