Bello Speaks at Shenandoah University Convocation

Mind & Media’s Chief Creative Officer, Aldo Bello, spoke at Shenandoah University’s 28th Annual International Convocation on November 16.

Also at the event:

2017 Global Citizenship Project (GCP) destinations were announced–Japan, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico and South Africa
Conservatory students Kailbeth Chacin and Jose David Hernandez, both from Venezuela, played a traditional Venezuelan song
Psychology major and dance minor Enlin Qing, who is from China, performed
Resolutions of Appreciation were presented to individuals recognized by Shenandoah University and its board of trustees for their outstanding contributions to global awareness:
- Magalen O. Bryant, trustee emeritus of the Shenandoah University Board of Trustees and environmental activist
- Joey Gawrysiak, Ph.D., assistant professor of sport management
- Karen Cornejo-Guillen, a Shenandoah student who is majoring in political science, Spanish, and global studies
