Client: The Census Bureau
Mind & Media produced web-based training for the Census Bureau to teach employees how to use software and canvass neighborhoods and teach managers how to manage teams and facilitate training.
Mind & Media developed highly interactive, media-rich elearning modules for the Census Bureau to help train tens of thousands of employees in advance of the decennial census. After setting a foundation of trust in our first year, Census relied on us for substantially increasing amounts of work at an ever-quickening pace as the census year approached.
The nature of the work was complex, requiring multiple development iterations and multiple rounds of careful quality control. Mind & Media used innovative tracking procedures to ensure a high rate of accuracy as we continually updated iterations of the training on software as it was being developed.
Training included software simulations, role-playing, and video demonstrations. Some of the training was also produced in Spanish for Puerto Rico.
Mind & Media produced high-quality products that exceeded Census’ expectations. They adhered to the schedule set by Census Bureau but were also agile when competing mission-critical priorities forced schedule deviations. Of special mention, Mind & Media was very prompt in responding to time-sensitive requests and never failed to deliver.
Over five years, Mind & Media demonstrated our flexibility, creativity, and technical know-how to develop and revise a high volume of evolving multimedia training under tremendous deadline pressure.
